What are the normal battery usages for a Macbook 2016 during sleep?

Hello,

I would just like to know how many percent of drop people are getting on their Macbooks 2016 overnight. Because my Macbook seems to drop very little on some nights, and almost 10 percent on other nights. I find that the battery drain happens the most when safari is open when closing the lid but sometimes even if safari is open battery drain won't really occur.

I would just like to know if others are having these things also, so I can reassure myself 🙂

This is a major issue for me right now. At the end of the day, I disconnect my 2016 MacBook from an Acer USB-C monitor and then close the lid. The battery is always at 100% at the end of the day. When I open the laptop the next morning and plug in the USB-C display, the computer acts like it is starting up from being previously powered off--all of my open apps have been quit and all previous finder windows are closed. The battery is now around 60%.

Thanks for the reply, but this suggestion is not helpful in troubleshooting the issue.

I have a 2016 MacBook with the overnight battery drain issue and a mid-2013 11" MacBook Air without the issue. These machines are fully updated with latest operating system, all apps are updated, run the same versions of the web browsers, sit side by side on the same desk, both have 100% battery when leaving the office for the day, and in the morning, the 2016 MacBook is around 60% battery and appears to have shut itself down, while the Air is either 100% or nearly 100% and all apps and browser windows are right where I left them.
